Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with an equipment testing manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs. They are looking to hire an Electronics Testing Assembler. This position is paying between $25-$32 based on experience.

As an electronic assembler technician, your primary duties are to assemble electronic parts, such as circuit boards, mount them into larger assemblies or casings, ensure the proper soldering and installation of electric wiring, and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and apparatus.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, and apparatus.
  • Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Perform routine and complex electrical tests on various systems and components.
  • Analyze test results and document findings.
  • Identify and diagnose electrical issues.
  • Implement effective solutions to resolve electrical problems.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
  • Ensure all tools and instruments are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve issues.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on test results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist in the development of test procedures and protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests and inspections.
  • Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Technician Requirements:

  • 2-year electrical, technical, or related degree.
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
  • At least 2 years' experience as an electrical technician.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
